trakAx.com is our website to showcase and sell our software products - trakAxPC and trakAxMobile - as well as our royalty-free content - trakPacks. The aim of the site is to be clean, friendly and appealing to novice users.
The website is fairly comprehensive and we have incorporated numerous weblogs all with custom fields, a forum (http://www.trakax.com/software/forum/) as well as a wiki (http://trakax.com/software/wiki).
The homepage uses the JQuery Gallery - Nivo Slider (http://nivo.dev7studios.com/) and we used PrettyPhoto (http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/) to pop up images / videos etc. in a lightbox.
All members of the team have been able to embrace the website and using ExpressionEngine -from those with coding experience to those who want to simply add new weblogs, support features etc. It has been extremely flexible in growing with our needs.
